Storms River Mouth is lauded for its breathtaking natural beauty, offering stunning coastal and forest scenery, and exciting activities like kayaking and hiking. "Storms River Mouth Rest Camp is a fantastic place if you love being close to nature. It’s right inside Tsitsikamma National Park, so you’re surrounded by forest, ocean, and incredible wildlife. The camp offers a range of options—from camping sites to cozy chalets and huts—so there’s something for everyone.
I loved being able to hear the waves from the ocean and even spotting dolphins from time to time. The location is perfect for hikes, including the start of the Otter Trail, and plenty of short walks right from the camp."

"Really beautiful! A lot of refurbishment taking place so parking is limited.
The kayaking group will not let you launch private kayaks though🤨
The views are amazing but choose your visit days carefully if you are not fond of crowds.😉"
Andrew Nyce
"Terrible stay—we left after just 2 hours! We were only told the waterfall trail was closed when checking in (no prior notice at all). Then, tap water stayed murky for 20 mins, hot water ran out in 15 mins, and the tiny old radiator was useless—we froze even under the quilt. Called staff for help, got a promise, but no one showed up.
The view is amazing, But cottage really SUCKS! Save your time and money—this cottage fails at the most basic services, and their lack of responsiveness is unacceptable."
