What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Jozi X Adventure Park offers a mix of energetic fun with its inflatables and unique stress-relief activities like the Rage and Splatter Rooms. While many praise the friendly staff and the fun factor for kids' parties, some reviews point to misleading pricing and worn facilities. It's a place that can deliver a memorable, albeit sometimes imperfect, experience.
"Sometimes you just need a day filled with energy, creativity, and a bit of controlled chaos — and that’s exactly what Jozi X, the Rage Room, and Splatter Room delivered. From start to finish, it was an experience that was both incredibly fun and strangely soothing.
We started at Jozi X, where the energy was instantly infectious. The activities were exciting, engaging, and a great way to shake off the everyday routine. It’s the kind of place that pulls you right into the action, whether you’re there for a physical challenge or just to try something new with friends or family.
The Rage Room was next, and it was pure catharsis. There’s something surprisingly calming about smashing things in a safe, controlled space — like a workout for your stress levels. You walk out feeling lighter, more relaxed, and maybe even grinning from ear to ear.
Finally, we headed to Splatter Room, where creativity meets fun in the messiest way possible. Throwing paint at canvases, walls, and even each other was liberating. It’s a space where you can be unapologetically messy while creating something unique to take home.
What made the day so memorable was the balance — the adrenaline of Jozi X, the release of the Rage Room, and the joyful chaos of the Splatter Paint. The staff were friendly, encouraging, and made sure everything flowed smoothly, adding to the enjoyment.
If you’re looking for an outing that’s as therapeutic as it is exciting, this trio of experiences is perfect. You’ll laugh, you’ll de-stress, and you’ll leave with memories (and maybe some paint) that stick."

"Jozi X was a most disappointing experience. It is definitely one of those places where the photos are extremely misleading as are the offerings.
Let's start with ticket prices..
On the website it advertises rates of R180 but what it fails to add is that this rate is only for groups of 20. The tickets are in fact R200 per person. While there is only a R20 difference, it is still misleading marketing.
Now, the facilities.... These need a real upgrade as does the venue in general. The inflatables looked worn and old and in need of refurbishment, which shouldn't be hard at R200 a ticket.
Jozi X offers a water slide as part of its summer offering. This wasn't available on the day as the pump was broken (!?). The staff tried to substitute with Nerf guns which held the interest of the 13 and 12 year old boys, about 5 minutes and did nothing to stage their disappointment
In terms of value for money, there wasn't. The kids enjoyed a half an hour of trying the different obstacles and then that was that..
The piece de resistance was when my nephew hurt himself on one of the inflatables and none of the staff made an effort to help him. The only one who showed any concern was the car guard!
I will credit some of the staff members who were friendly and welcoming particularly the lady at the front desk but I'm afraid it was too little, too late. 😔
Jozi X, we won't be back"

"Friendly stuff and good place to have a kids party. Good that you can bring your own food and drinks. Pizzas fine as well. Obstacles getting too hot during the day but there is a water slide ti cool down"

The Rage Room is a space where visitors can safely smash items like glassware and electronics, offering a powerful outlet for stress and frustration. It's described as a cathartic experience that leaves people feeling lighter.
The Splatter Room takes a more creative approach, allowing participants to throw paint at canvases and walls, resulting in vibrant, abstract art. This experience is about embracing messiness and unleashing creativity in a fun, uninhibited way. Together, these three experiences create a dynamic day out that caters to different moods and desires, from pure fun to therapeutic release.
Navigating Jozi X: Tips for a Smoother Visit
To make the most of your day, consider visiting during off-peak hours, such as weekday mornings, to avoid the largest crowds and the most intense heat. The park can get very hot, and the inflatables can become too warm to touch, so early visits or late afternoons are often recommended. Bringing your own food and drinks is a smart strategy to save money and ensure you have refreshments readily available.
Despite some criticisms, many visitors highlight the phenomenal staff who contribute significantly to the positive vibe and overall experience. Their friendliness and encouragement can make a big difference. If you're looking for a day filled with energetic activities and unique experiences, Jozi X can still be a memorable outing, especially if you go in with a clear understanding of what to expect.
