Visitors consistently praise Kruger National Park for its incredible wildlife viewing opportunities and the sheer thrill of spotting the Big Five. The staff are often described as friendly and helpful, and the park's natural beauty is a major draw. Some minor drawbacks include potential crowds around popular sightings and the limited selection in park shops.
"Kruger National Park is a unique and wonderful place, definitely worth a visit. Orpen gate welcomed us with a large pride of lions eating a recently killed buffalo just beside the road side. An amazing experience"

"One of the greatest days of my life! Visiting Kruger National Park has been a lifelong dream and our visit did not disappoint. Arriving just on sunrise at the Orpen Gate entry we were able to see 26 species in a 3/4 day safari. It can get crowded around animals of particular interest such as the lions. It is a mix of jeep safari companies and private vehicles. All drivers were patient, non-aggressive and lots of information was being shared about animal sightings.
List of animals seen: Helmeted Guinea Fowl, Saddleback stork, Egyptian Geese, Egret, Starling, Ostrich, Crocodile, Giraffe, Wilderbeast, Hippo, African Elephant, Hyena, White Rhino, Lion, White backed Vulture, Leopard Vulture, Steenbok, Kudu, Impala, Water Buck, Drongo, Tawny Eagle, Warthog, Lilac Breasted Roller, Baboon, Hornbill."

"August is a great time to visit the Kruger, weather was warm but not too hot, animals were roaming about freely and the drive was so good."
