"I met Mr Attie there in Buffelspoort Dam safe guarding us when we were swimming including Tiisetso and Kgomotso. Toilet facilities are always clean with warm shower waters. We really enjoyed and had fun 🎉"

"Really nice clean dam , some big carp and bass and reasonably priced. Abolition could use a touch up , drains unclogged and shower heads cleaned but otherwise its clean and the staff are great at keeping the braai facilities and bins clean. If you camp buy wood at the gate as you must burn wood in the donkey to heat up your water.
Can get busy and would suggest booking online.
Take your bait with as there isnt a shopp there to stock up . Overall one of my favorite spots to spend a day and night fishing and star viewing at night.
Boats are slightly annoying as fishing gets affected further up the dam with the wakes . But a good place to take the boat and ski , wake board or ski."

"Had an awful experience. We were told that we cannot fish at the part of the dam where we had camped but the white people there were fortunate enough that they were allowed to fish at the very same area.
The toilet was a bit far from our campsite, we therefore had to drive to the toilet. The security came to us to inform us that the white people camped next to the toilet are feeling unsafe with our presence and that we should limit our use of the toilet.
5am we were woken up by a religious group of people singing right in front of our tent and performing some ritual in the water, this was really traumatic."
