"We booked what was advertised as luxury camping for our family, but it was anything but:
Hardly any grass — we had to pitch our tent in the dirt.
Power outlets not working.
Blocked bathroom drain.
Loud music late into the night.
Dogs barking near our site all night.
No proper shower — just a bath with a hand shower and curtain.
Facilities worn, dirty, and far from “luxury”.
We had two pensioners with us who were extremely unhappy, so we packed up and left. When I raised this politely with reception, management refused a refund and only offered a credit — useless to us as travellers passing through from another country.
Their follow-up was silence. No further effort to make things right.
My advice: If you value cleanliness, peace, and honesty in advertising — stay far away from Maselpoort."
