What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
De Bakke Beach offers a prime location with direct beach access and ocean-view patios, appealing to those seeking a relaxed coastal experience. However, some guests have reported significant concerns regarding chalet cleanliness and inconsistent service, which can detract from the overall stay.
"Good location but thats about it. The chalets was rather dirty when we got there with rat poo and cockroach legs to be found. There was also no shower so we ended up making use of the camping ablution showers."
Hanno Van Der Walt
"I Ask to booked a chalet for 2 nights, I was told there is space and I could choose between 2 places. When I wanted to pay another lady came in and the I got told, no they can only help for one night as a huge group of children will arrive and they can only give me the chalet for one night as they will not have time the next day to clean the rooms before the group arrive the day after. The Friday the group only arrived late afternoon. They lost out on the opportunity to let me stay another night as the chalets were all empty the next day. I was very disappointed in the service. Most of the chalets was empty. I would have understood if they were fully booked."

"Not impress with rooms at all for that price..
I also did not get pensioners discout although i booked through their website..apparently you must not book online if you want discount even if you stay 2000km away."
