"I came upon the beautiful white building of this church soon after I drove into Paarl from the southern entrance of the city. Built at the beginning of the 19th century, around 1805, the church and the grounds around it are kept in an impeccable state, making a visit here essential. The grounds also have an old cemetary that is worth a few minutes of your time. The tombstones are a who's who of some of the oldest family names of settler families."
