Reviews Summary

Visitors consistently praise the University of Pretoria's beautiful campus, rich history, and excellent academic support. Many alumni feel a strong connection to the university, viewing it as a second home. While parking can be a significant challenge, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive, with many impressed by the friendly staff and the quality of education.

"I did both my undergraduate degrees at UP and now that I want to pursue my Master's degree, I cannot think of a better place! It's an awesome varsity with many possibilities and opportunities. The lecturers put their best foot forward and receiving quality knowledge is at the top of the radar for them! Even after 5 years of having last graduated, UP is home for me!"

Rebotile Aphane

"Best vibes, such a beautiful campus. It's a real treat to have so many options for food and drinks. Hatflied is the busiest campus with real difficulty finding parking. Campus' 2 free parking lots get full by 7 o'clock and Engineering (Paid) parking is full by 8 or 9. It tends to clear up after 13h (most of the time, not always)."

Ant Hanekom

"University of Pretoria has been exceptional from them streamlining the application process to the support by the lecturers and supervisors for my postgraduate studies. A huge Thank you to Prof Yazbek and Dr Morobe. I've studied previously at other universities, but must admit that the assistance received from UP is incomparable.
My lastest encounter was with needing assistance with the library. I’ll be the first to admit that I'm not very tech-savvy. I had an urgent deadline and needed immediate support—and that’s when Sagren Naidoo from UP Information Services truly went above and beyond. I was lucky to get his contact details from a colleague, and I can’t begin to express how much his help meant to me. “Thank you” doesn’t feel like enough. Sagren, you're an absolute gem to the faculty!"
