"A beautiful day on a public holiday demands a walk/hike. We arrived early ahead of possible crowds. Super spot for a shaded walk in the forest - look out for the bamboo - or hike up past the vineyards to a panoramic viewpoint. Well demarcated hiking route and mountain bike route. I think you may be able to 4x4 too. Not sure. Dogs on leads are permitted at an additional cost, get a permit. Children under 5 free. Fishing in the nearby dam permissible, permit required too. Plenty of braai, picnic areas....be sure to book.
And at the right time of year, the strawberries are just outstanding and great value. You can also pick your own. Wonderful day out."

The food was absolutely delicious; I tried their quiche and a lekker fresh strawberry milkshake , and everything was full of flavor and beautifully presented.
What really made the experience special was the setting. Walking around the farm, surrounded by the mountains and greenery, was so relaxing. The fresh air and peaceful nature added an extra layer to our visit – it felt like a true escape from the city.
