What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Reviews for accommodations near Rafting Route 62 are mixed. While some guests praise the friendly service, clean rooms, and secure parking, others highlight dated facilities, small room sizes, and issues with amenities like Wi-Fi and air conditioning. Breakfast quality also receives varied feedback.
"Really, this accommodation shouldn't have been given a star. We haven't seen such a dump for a long time. They're still making a lot of money from a run down property.
R600 is actually cheap for an overnight stay in Robertson, but in this accommodation every penny is too much. Our room smelled very strongly of mothballs, whether it was because of the furniture from the last century, i don't know. The room was so small that two people could hardly move in it and there was no proper storage for our clothes. The bathroom wasn't ensuite, but separate in the corridor, directly opposite the dining room. It was impossible to to quickly pop into the bathroom in your nightwear. There was a huge crack through the door to our room. There was also no way to make coffee in the room. You could use a water heater in the dining room, but there was some unlabeled coffee left in a glas there. Luckily we had our own coffee with us. But there was no access to other plates or cutlery and breakfast the next morning for an additional R70, wasn't worth the money. The white bread was the cheapest you could buy and quite dry.
All in all, once and never again. From 2 pm until the next morning there were no employees on the site to turn to."

"Room was very small, but it's all they had available, we're quite booked, wifi signal was very weak, no TV or dstv/cable, no aircon, and shower taps and head shocked us when we touched it while showering.. We slept well though, while we were in Robertson for work"
Jaques Jansen
"Stayed over for one night. Rooms were clean and up to expectations. Breakfast is offered up to 9am at an additional charge. Safe and secure parking on the premises."
