Reviews Summary

Visitors generally find the Stellenbosch University Museum to be a valuable and enjoyable experience, particularly appreciating its free admission and the opportunity to photograph exhibits. The art collections are frequently praised for their quality and curation, while the historical displays offer insightful perspectives on South Africa's past. Some visitors, however, have expressed disappointment with the presentation of certain exhibitions, suggesting a lack of effort in some areas.

"I only had a very short time at this museum while eating for my lift. There is lots of SA history on the lower floor and a super art exhibition upstairs. The museum is free and the staff were welcoming and obliging. I would definitely recommend a more time there. I particularly enjoyed the art works upstairs however this needs time to appreciate. I noticed there were other wings to this museum situated across the road. Next time I'll be sure to spend more time exploring."

Daryn Smith
