What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Asia Culture Center (ACC) for its spaciousness, diverse exhibitions, and vibrant atmosphere, making it a significant cultural landmark in Gwangju. While the children's area and restaurant receive mixed feedback, the overall experience is highly regarded for its artistic offerings and accessibility.
"Located in the heart of old Gwangju downtown, and directly behind the Old Provincial Office, very important landmark and historical site. Easy access using subway or bus, ample parking space and spacious area for exhibitions, performances and events.
We recently went to a exhibition featuring South East Asia. Exhibits are displayed beautifully with abundant information, although not all in English. The library was exceptionally well put, looks like an airport if you ask me!
The children section has a playground but unfortunately only for small kids (before elementary school age) and works through reservation system. There is a restaurant but sorry to say the price is ridiculously expensive. Bring your own lunch and eat at the designated area or eat outside and come back.
Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. You can make use of the guide tour to visit the important area. All in all very nice place to visit."

Every 6 month it organizes International food and cultural events. This place is very beautiful and peaceful. Its very near to down town area. The 5.18 memorial museum is located near to this place. This place also include a small rose garden where you can spent peaceful time."
