Spirited Gardens in Jeju S.Korea
Visiting Jeju Island in S.Korea. This is an amazing bunjae (bonsai) garden. Amazing pines, massive trunks. Deciduous were vigorous, and giant bases. Needing some clean up to appreciate the taper and branch work. Enjoy

"It was a very nice relaxing time. The gardens are really beautiful. They had 2 lovely koi ponds (you can buy bag of food for the for 1000 won) and many more bonsai trees, they were really amazingly large and old. This 1 is the largest bonsai I have ever seen. Also very interesting display of petrified wood; amazingly large specimens. Well worth the small admission price."

"This place was so tranquil, I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was so lovely to walk through the garden and appreciate both its beauty and the skill it takes to cultivate such a place. There’s also a cute cafe there with a great view of the garden and ponds where you can feed koi fish. 10/10 would recommend."

"A definite must-go! Highly recommended.
Mr Sung welcomed us at the entrance of the garden with huge smile and a firm handshake, i could feel sincerity in our 1-2words conversation. My friend wore a purple hat, mine was pink cap, we each received an umbrella thats the color of our 'hat' :D
This place is more than a garden, it inspires gratitude to mother nature. The bonsais/landscape are well curated, definitely a soulful learning experience for me. Purchased a book called '草木人生' at the watchtower. The view is perfect, the space if well maintained.
Glad we made it there."
