Reviews Summary

Tapdong Food Street at Dongmun Market is a lively, bustling night market offering a wide array of delicious Korean street food, particularly fresh seafood and Jeju Black Pork. Visitors love the vibrant atmosphere and the variety of culinary experiences. However, it can get extremely crowded, especially on weekends, and some find the food to be standard rather than exceptional.

"We went at the end of the night, a lot of things were going on sale so that they close up. This was around 10-10.30pm on a Friday. Some stalls had already closed. In total maybe around 15-20 food stalls. It was easy to find parking around the area."

"I had an unpleasant expereince as a tourist from this stall in the photos. While shopping for sashimi at a crowded live fish stall directly next to it, the woman in pink apron approached us and shoved us away in an awfully rude way. Just to note that we were standing between the 2 stalls and not blocking any of her merchandise, and her stall wasnt crowded at all... Just don't stand near her stall if you don't intent to buy anything from them."

"I recently visited Dongmun Traditional Market and was absolutely enchanted by the vibrant atmosphere and the variety of fresh produce and local specialties. The market is well-organized into sections, making it easy to navigate and find exactly what you're looking for. From fresh seafood and meat to unique Jeju snacks and souvenirs, there's something for everyone.

One of the highlights was the night market food area where I got to sample some delicious local delights. The market truly captures the essence of Jeju's rich culinary culture. Whether you're a foodie or just looking to experience local life, Dongmun Market is a must-visit destination.

The vendors were friendly and eager to share their products, and the overall experience was both enjoyable and memorable. I left with a bag full of goodies and a heart full of appreciation for the local culture.

If you're ever in Jeju, make sure to spend some time at Dongmun Traditional Market. It's a fantastic way to immerse yourself in the local culture and taste some incredible food."
