Many stores, bakeries, restaurants, coffee shops etc.
Everything is very colourful and there is a vibe of celebration.
For some reason, which I am not clear about, there are multiple stores dedicated to claw machines ( aka crane game, skill crane or UFO catcher)
Not one machine, not one store, but many stores of those machines.
Somewhat strange.
There are also stores that lets you dressup and take photos of yourself in a photo boot (which is kind of strange, given the availability of camera phones).
Another uniqe shop is the cats coffeshop.
It has a song that stucks in your head about how to meow.
The skyroad is also very close to the Daejeon market.
Both highly recommended.
The only downside is the parking, but overall it is not very expensive."
