What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Eungbongsan's stunning panoramic views of Seoul, especially the vibrant forsythia blooms in spring and the dazzling city lights at night. It's praised as an easily accessible and free urban escape, perfect for a short hike and memorable photos. Some note the numerous stairs can be tiring, and it can get crowded during peak bloom.
"I visited this place a long time ago (about 7 years ago), but I didn’t remember it until I arrived here again. I really like the view of the Hangang River from this spot. There weren’t many people when I came last Saturday, which made it even more enjoyable. They also have a fountain where you can get drinking water.
I wanted to stay longer to see the night view, but since it’s summer, it would have taken too long for it to get dark, so we decided to leave.
To get here, I think the fastest way is to get off at Eungbong Station. We got off at Singeumho Station, and it took us around 30 minutes to walk. But from Eungbong, it’s only about a 15-minute walk. But at the top, there are signs pointing toward Euongbong Station, but once you get down, there’s no direction at all—I had to use a map to find my way which was a bit complicated."

"Because it is a small mountain right next to the Han River, the view of the Han River and the surrounding background from here is very good. Because it is located in the central area of Seoul, you can see Gangnam, Yongsan and Jamsil."

"A little hill that sits right along the Han River, surrounded by old hillside neighborhood. Like many other mountains in Seoul, it's superbly maintained, well lit, well accessed by public transportation. The lovely, quite unusually close view of Eastern Seoul is very much worth checking out, especially at night."
