Visitors praise the quality and affordability of items like king crab and fugu, as well as the generous complimentary appetizers. However, the significant language barrier can make ordering challenging for non-Korean speakers.
"It looks like a normal fish market. Mostly neat and clean. A box of squids is about $36. Price sounds good."

"Must visit place while in Jumunjin. We had lunch here in one of the restaurants inside the cluster of the eateries here.
Everybody speaks only Korean here and signs and menu are also only in Korean so it’s very difficult for a non Korean to order food. We got help from a customer who translated for us. Thankfully we ate after that."

"A very exciting fish market. Aside from selling fresh/live seafood, there're sections that sell snacks and dried seafood, as well as restaurants cook to your orders. You pick the live seafood you want and they cook it for you on the spot, can't be fresher than that. They also give you free appetizers that mostly live seafood cut as sashimi like sea squirt, abalone, octopus, etc. They also give steamed sea snails and some kind of seafood rolls. Pretty luxurious for free appetizers I think.
We ordered king crab steamed at ₩90,000/kg, quite affordable, and it came sweet as it can be. They also cut it so it's easy for you to eat it. They also mix the head butter in the shell with some kind of mix rice, it come out heavenly. We ordered fugu at ₩60,000/kg, they sashimi the body and make soup out of the head and bone, quite nice and refreshing. I highly recommend those two if you're here.
The seafood market is very lively with a million different kind of seafood sold. I had my eyes on the clams, prawns and snow crabs but alas my tummy is at its maximum capacity. The place is very clean, no smell at all and the water drainage is very active and effective."
