What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about Gyeryongsan National Park's stunning natural beauty, challenging yet rewarding hiking trails, and the serene atmosphere of its temples. Many appreciate the well-maintained paths and the opportunity to see unique wildlife. However, some find the rocky terrain demanding, and late starts can lead to hiking in the dark.
"Because I had to step from rock to rock, a lot of the descent and ascent I could not look around without stopping. The trail was well maintained and had signs throughout."

"I went there in Chusok holiday. This is awesome place for hiking. We went there from Daejeon. You can take 107 bus from Yuseong intercity bus terminal to the Gyeryongsan national park, about less than 30 minutes. You need to pay 3000 won for adult to enter. The Park is awesome. At first, it was easy to walk, just like walk in the normal park. After 1.2km, you will visit Donghaksa temple. I like this temple a lot, the transquil atmosphere and unique architecture there just made youl feel so relaxed and calm. From that, you will enter the harder part with rocky road. So take extra care. We did not reach the peak because it was a late. So we only reached eungson waterfall but the view was awesome"
