"Great place.You can get there by subway to 대공원역(Seoul grand park) station. It is advisable to get to the zoo by skylift or by train, the train costs 2000 won. The zoo also has a skylift, so you can see animals from above."

"They claim to be open till 7pm and they'll sell you a ticket as late as 6pm. But after 5pm all the indoor enclosures are closed (some after 4pm) and most of the animals are put in the back, away from their enclosures. You also can't ride the chair lift. So if you enter after 5pm, you'll miss 90% of the animals. I think this is very dishonest. I assume they do it because they are lazy and want to force people out.
They are also cruel to animals. For example, I saw a bear locked in a tiny box, pacing back and forth, instead of being allowed to remain in it's large enclosure. Don't support this place. It's bad."
