What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Nambu Traditional Market offers a vibrant mix of traditional and modern Korean experiences, particularly praised for its diverse street food and lively atmosphere, especially during the weekend night market. Some visitors note that the daytime market can feel less energetic on weekdays, with certain eateries potentially closed.
"2025.9.17 (Wed)
I have to admit: I have seen many markets in Korea (Seoul, Busan, Jeju)…..this is the least lively. I came during the day, and midweek. The tourist office says it is “open”. I thot the redeeming factor is the bimbimbap. Even that eatery is closed 😅"

"Very lively both at night and during the day.
In the morning -afternoon, it's a market selling various things such as vegs and fruits, banchan, kitchen utensils, clothes, wooden tools, flowers, plants and some cafes/ restaurants).
At night (I believe only on Fridays and Saturdays) there's a night market, around 50 or so stalls in the middle.
Tbh, the morning market is more interesting with authentic experience.
The night market only sell modern Korean food, mosty sweet and deep-fried things."
