What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the Korea Furniture Museum Seoul for its unique and immersive experience, highlighting the beauty of the traditional houses and the exquisite antique furniture. The guided tours are frequently cited as a major strength, providing invaluable historical and cultural context. However, the strict reservation-only policy and limited English tour availability can be a point of frustration for some.
"Absolutely beautiful and well-organized tour. No pictures allowed, except in one area of a courtyard. You have to remove your shoes during one part of the tour- I'd wear shoes that easily slips on and off. Remember to make a reservation and English tours are not available everyday. Worth it!"

"Took the english tour and was floored by the beauty of hanok. Our guide was very knowledgeable and was excellent in her answers. Please note that there is limited photography of the museum as well as difficulty in walking/accessibility (both to the museum and inside the museum). I highly recommend taking a taxi to it as well as calling a taxi from it after the tour."

"It was a very amazing experience for me. The best feeling was I got a chance to sit and look outside the window to see how it feels like to be a Noble Lady :) The collection was great, the tour guide gave you a detailed explanation. You need to take off your shoes so use something that’s not complicated. For anyone who wants to experience Korean culture it’s a very rare good chance to go here. Ps: you can take a bus to go here ( just make sure you install Naver Map), and you have to book in advance for English Tour."
