"We visited Majang Meat Market for the first time, and it was quite an experience! Similar to a fish market but entirely dedicated to meat—I saw plenty of pork and beef. Our main mission was to find the "shrimp cut" of the ribeye. According to Google, 새우살 (sae-u-sal) refers to the bent shape of the ribeye, resembling the curled backs of shrimp.
I showed this definition to one of the vendors, and she pointed us to the ribeye. We also picked up some skirt steak and beef tongue. The ordering process was a bit flexible—when we requested 300g of ribeye, we ended up with 542g, but we didn’t mind. The staff was very polite, and she even let me film her butchering the cuts of meat, which was pretty cool to watch.
After purchasing, another staff member guided us to a nearby restaurant to cook our meat. The restaurant fee was 8,000 won per person, which included side dishes and a charcoal grill. Additional items like rice and other dishes were available for purchase. The meal was delicious!

"This is where you can get good Korean beef for affordable price. Market is roomy and lined with lots of shops selling beef, thus touting is prevalent. A portion of storekeepers do speak English so choosing your meat is not a problem, they will bring you to a hidden restaurant too after you order.
Special mention goes to the pictured restaurant, it is all the way at the end of the market. Staff speaks fluent English, meat is of supreme quality and price is competitive. Free serving of beef as even provided. The store will provide an option for a newer more expensive restaurant for 9000 won or older one for 8000 won per pax, do yourself a favor and choose the newer one as it is roomy and much cleaner."
