"I learned the history of Seoul as the capital of Baekjae. In weekend, it was not too crowded for visiting with children."

"Drab. Just too much of the paint odor, and, sanitary spray smell lingering throughout the exhibition.

We didn't get to care more about Baekje history although we spent some hours to browse through the lame story boards. Waste of structure and public fund.

The English captions are missing from the beginning, and, if there are, it was patchy. There are English captions in some on 2nd level, but they were not reviewed by the native speakers and many displays still miss the English captions for foreign visitors.

I think they do not have the in-house curators but outsourced the story boards to some graphic editor who had done a very amatuerish job.

For example, the huge wall of the historic events were wrongly posted the old-to-new historic events in Korean peninsula and other world regions, from right to left, when the public procession is from left to right.

They did not bother to change it.

And posting oldest event at the bottom and newest at the top on each era This was confusing and not intuitive. It is as if there was no one who reviewed each board before hanging them.

Situated in a bygone sculpture park from military era of 1980s, the surrounding setting is outdated and neglected by the Gangdong district office.
The whole area, indeed, is inaccessible from neighboring apartment complexes due to "baricated" road and sidewalk/ raised landscape elements, and subway stops were located remotely, discouraging the visitors to come (for nothing).

We really tried to acknowledge the museum setup, but had to take a on-call taxi to leave the area, giving up to walk to the subway. We felt forced to walk in this area.

Very inhumane.

The Museum itself is a many of the patchy curation work done by cheap graphic contractors with no screening.

The building was poorly designed and, imo, copied from de Young Museum SF concept and many others using the mass floating over the slope design concept, in domestic Korean architecture trend almost 20 years ago.

The Space inside was totally wasted and their programs do not match the building space flow, either.

The program inside is mediocre at best. It is not well developed story or experience. Just cheap cheap cheap.

I would not recommend to visit this place, but we tried."
