Visitors find Songwol-dong Fairy Tale Village to be a quirky and charming neighborhood, especially enjoyable on sunny days with its colorful murals and unique photo opportunities. While it's a hit with families and art lovers, some note that many shops close early or on rainy days, and the hilly terrain requires comfortable footwear.
"This is a very quirky but cute neighborhood next to China Town in Incheon South Korea. On a sunny day it is wonderful with cute shops and treats to eat. On a rainy day it can be slick and treacherous and many stores closed. Don’t go before 10am as nothing will be open and you will need to wait. There is a very Asian vibe to the fairy tales depicted around the village. It adds to the quirky and fun feeling. Many cheesy but nice photo opportunities. We had wonderful ice cream and found a few souvenirs."

While there are cafes and snack shops, the village is more about the artistic experience than a wide array of full-service restaurants. Chinatown nearby offers more dining options. 🍴
