"Yongsan Observatory is a little hike from the parking area of Suncheon Bay Nature Reserve. It is well worth the walk! You begin by walking across a boardwalk through the reeds of Suncheon Bay. It is incredibly beautiful. Eventually, you reach the edge of the hill, you begin the climb up, and you reach Yongsan Observatory. If you can time it right to watch the sunset when you’re up there, you are in for a very special treat! Do keep in mind there are a LOT of bugs in summer, so bring some bug spray! It’s a really nice, peaceful area away from the hustle and bustle of cities nearby, and well worth visiting if you’re in the area. I can’t wait to go back!"
