The well-maintained trails and the option to combine hiking with visits to Seoul Grand Park are frequently highlighted as positives. However, some find the steeper sections near the peaks challenging and potentially dangerous without proper footwear, and crowds can be an issue on weekends.
"Really interesting mountain range and hiking trails. I decided to take a horse shoe shaped trail direction around the Seoul Grand Park, which took about 6.5 hours (2,400 calories burnt, over 3,000 feet of elevation ascend) to complete with 2 rest and a quick lunch break. The tallest peak was has a dangerous trail at the top so please have a proper hiking shoes as the rocks can be slippery. One wrong footing will be game over!!! The views from the 3 tallest peaks were excellent! Recommended hiking to the 2 of the peaks. I can not recommend the tallest peak as it is quite dangerous."

"If you are not a usual mountain hiker, Mountain Cheong-gye is a perfect entry. It's very accessible by public transportations; all the routes are well-maintained, stepped by other hikers; and the view from the top--which is quite easily achieved--is rather beautiful than you might've expected. It'd be ideal to go there on weekdays or early in the morning to avoid the crowd."

"Love hiking, this one really pushed me though! I’m not that experienced of a hiker so I didn’t make it to the peak. Lots of stairs 😨"
