"A little out of the way if you’re doing the Camino de Santiago, but I think it is worth it, especially if you have any interest in Galician/Galicia/poetry. Only 3€ to enter the house/museum, but the gardens are free to walk around (and the bathrooms are free to use). The bookstore section at the entrance of the museum is also very nice. I got a bilingual Spanish-Galician anthology of de Castro’s poetry."

Jacob Clark

"Interesting Museum about the life and times of Galician poet and iconic figure here, Rosalia de Castro. This is the house where she died. The gardens are beautiful too especially the amazing trees. Could do with being maintained better.Although a bit out of town it's well worth a visit next to Train Station. For pilgrims there's a short-cut from here back onto the Camino if you cross the railway and walk parallel to it."

Mark Auchincloss

"I love coming to this place, the gardens, the ambiance like frozen for the last 150 years... It's also sad knowing the story behind this incredible woman, so talented. Totally recommended. Note this is her house, don't expect a huge museum."
