What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors rave about the breathtaking, 'out of this world' views from Penya des Migdia, calling it a 'MUST' for its dramatic coastal scenery and adventurous trail. While the hike is challenging with steep sections and requires good navigation, most agree the effort is well worth it, even for families with children. Some mention the trail isn't perfectly marked, but the payoff is immense.
"Not the best marked but if you need an adventure and like off the beaten path this hike is for you. My teens need a bit of options for peril and we wanted a hike with a view. Google maps was a big epic fail when it came to following for the trail, but the reviews here helped us get on the right path so I will add my own tips. This hike is some up. Take water and real shoes. We saw every set up on the hike but flip flops and no water would make it miserable and most likely impossible to get fully to the Canon. We had 11-18 age in kids with us. Took our time and it was an hour up and an hour down. The last 15 minutes follow the blue dots and enjoy the bit of risk with steep cliffs and scrambling. Great views at the top. Pictures to show parking lot at Ermita de la Victòria, free! Head to the service looking road and after 15-20 minutes the trail starts at this left turn into the railed path. Can't miss it now, trust the path and keep going. The blue dots start at the fallen pillar looking picture. Have fun"

"Amazing hike, manage to go all way on top to the cannon and back in under 2h, with kids. Can be a little bit challenging towards the end but easy doable. Views are out of this world, is a MUST!"

"Incredibly beautiful path with amazing views! The path starts at the parking of Restaurante Mirador de la Victoria. It took us 70 minutes to the top, total about 2 hours. There is a bit more difficult part at the end, but we were carrying a baby and we did it."
