"Looks like it's temporarily closed. There is a chain around the main entrance gate but no updated signage. I read somewhere that the park was no longer maintained due to either financial issues or lack of interest however it's a stunning park, still has lots of interesting plant species, pretty tidy and tranquil. It says no dogs however every time I've visited there have been dogs which is nice so everyone can enjoy it. So long as people clean up after them I see no issue. There is a kid's play area just outside the botanical area. Worth a visit."

"Such a cool place with loads of place for children to play and a variety of plants and trees. However, it's very much unloved. The park is supposedly closed overnight but there's always rubbish. There's weeds everywhere. Most of the information signs are illegible and the little pond is a bit of mud."
