What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors praise the Bodega Histórica Don Carlos Underground Cellars for its affordable tours, knowledgeable guides, and immersive historical experience. While some find the tours lengthy and certain theatrical elements a bit much, the overall consensus is that it's a highly recommended and insightful visit into the region's winemaking heritage.
"I thoroughly enjoyed this tour showcasing the underground wine cellars of the region. The tour is informative and gives you insight into the centuries old tradition of wine making. The little theatre show while underground I felt was overdone. It cost only €10 which includes tasting one of the cellars wines."

"The guides were kinds and knowledgedgeables. We visited two typical medieval wineries in the middle of the town. Cristina and Sara explain very good the visit of the underground cellars.
It is a must visit if you'll stay in Aranda."
Maria Luz Adrián
"Could have been good, but it was waaaaay too long! Almost 3.5 hours! The cave visit was ok but dragged on for almost an hour. There was a dramatic performance that was incredibly awkward and cringy and added nothing. The wine information/tasting talk was good but again was too slow and the pouring of the 5 tasting wines and food was very slow. The drinks and food should be ready as soon as everyone arrives. The whole experience would have been considerably better if it had been reduced to around 1.5 hours. Less is more!"
