While many appreciate its beauty and calm waters, some visitors note the challenging, steep path to access the beach and poor visibility for snorkeling.
"Our favorite beach in A Coruña, located just step from the Tower of Hercules. Very calm, and a spectacular view of the sea and the tower!"
Guillermo Musumeci
"Beautiful beach near beautiful surroundings, but compared to other nearby beaches the visibility here is terrible for diving and snorkeling (or at least it has been consistently throughout my time here last month). Also the beach is relatively filthy, very often crowded and the path to the beach is so steep and slippery that I already slipped twice 🙈 Do recommend for sunset views and as a place to freshen up after a run or walk by the coast."
Loes Werkman
"Super picturesque beach with beautiful color to the water. A delight from the tower grounds above, it's worth a quick walk too."
