"Don’t expect your repeat custom to count for anything here. I have just checked in and for the second time in a row have been allocated a room on the 1st floor.
These rooms should not be allocated at weekends as they are directly above the lobby area with loud music. They also have no window - instead opening onto a shared internal terrace .
When I asked for another room I was told I was allocated the room because I booked through a third party , and next time I should book direct . Well last one I booked directly and still got one of these . I was also told they are fully booked so can’t move me - I put my room preferences in the special requests and they were simply ignored
And there will be no “next time “. I’ve stayed here probably 20 times and the front desk staff have been getting progressively worse .
Plenty of other great hotels in the area where the service attitude is far superior ."

"Fabulous hotel in an excellent location! The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed. The gym is outstanding—without a doubt the best-equipped hotel gym I’ve ever experienced.
While I didn’t consistently find the staff to be especially attentive or warm, I do want to highlight the front desk attendant who helped us at checkout. He provided excellent service, and I wish I had caught his name to give him the recognition he deserves.
Overall, despite that one drawback, this hotel made a wonderful impression, and I would definitely choose to stay here again on my next Barcelona adventure."
