What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors appreciate the Funicular de Vallvidrera for its seamless integration into Barcelona's public transport, making it an affordable and convenient way to access the scenic Collserola hills. The short, historic ride and the beautiful views from the top are frequently highlighted as positives. However, some find the subsequent bus connections, particularly the Bus 111 to Tibidabo, to be slow and occasionally overcrowded.
"Fast service of the funicular, but very slow service of the 111 bus (we had to wait 4 buses, almost half an hour, to get us to the Tibidabo). True, buses were more frequent than announced, but they were very small, carrying only 18 sitting persons. But the drive itself was nice, especially on the way down, as the lady bus driver considered herself an F1 driver ... :). As far as the Funicular is considered, the ride is about two or three minutes and is more frequent than the 111 bus."

"Every 12 minutes Buss 111 tividabo has arrive. And in holidays time a lot of tourists people waiting for the long Que and waited for 30 minutes 😏"
Joan Billiones
"Just take this one to the tibidabo if you got the hola bcn or a tdia card. It's all in zone 1 and will save you the money for the funicular de tibidabo. Bus 111 will take you to the park.
The ride itself is nice but nothing special. Still 5 stars cause i like money and didn't have to spend any of it."
