Reviews Summary
Parc de l'Espanya Industrial is a unique urban park praised for its iconic dragon slide, lively atmosphere, and dog-friendly environment. Visitors appreciate the green spaces, sports activities, and the opportunity to witness local life, though some note the presence of homeless individuals and occasional maintenance issues with the fountains.
"We stayed near this park so overlooked it for a week. The photos I have are very nice sunset and some night shots of the trees reflected in the water. This is for sure a dog park as we were entertained by many dogs launching themselves into the water after their toys. At night we had some groups singing, dancing, and one night drums and flute playing. There seems to be many volleyball games, basketball games, and kids play with soccer balls throughout the day and into the night. The history of the park from our bus tour said that it used to be an industrial park for textiles. Once that was all torn down they made a park representing the textile factory. The fountains do not run all day or night. I do not know the schedule. The little fountain up top is splashed in by children but only dogs swim in the rest of the water. It seemed pretty green on the bottom by looking so probably slippery. The dragon slide is cool too. I just thought it was an art piece until we walked around it. The steps were many around it but not sure what they are or were used to do. Several homeless men appear to sleep here on the steps and play music late into the night. Worth a quick visit but if you have a dog, it’s a daily must for doggie fun."
