"Great hike through the canyon around the base of the mountain, a nice climb at the far side up to a nice vantage point with nice rock formations. If you're adventurous, you can hike back over the mountain following the goat trails."

"If you start the track from Vega del Rio Palmas, you are following the river down, with a green spot around you and a, more o less, flat trail. But when you pass the old dam, the track changes notably: rocky, step, and spectaclar the cannon you follow. You can visit the little 'Ermita de la Peña' and go down to have a view around the natural pounds, with some web-footed birds. If you follow the track until you bump into crossways, you can visit the 'Arco de las Peñitas'. If you do and come back, it's a 6 km total way, really worthy."
