"La Quinta is a great hotel, the on-site amenities were perfect, the grounds where amazing. The golf course was overall in good condition, there were a few parts/greens that weren't great but that's fine and it played well (although very hard course).
The staff were all very friendly and helpful (hotel staff and golf course staff) my only issues were the room. I expected a lot better from a 5 star resort. The room was in dire need of a refurb, the coffee machine in the room was great but that was about it. Severe lack of English TV channels, the iPhone Dock was broken, the bathroom door would not shut properly or even lock, the bathroom overall wasn't in the greatest condition. The beds and bedding were nice though.
Overall it was a very pleasant trip but I expect a lot more from the room considering the price and the 5 star status."
