What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Benalmádena Beach is praised for its spaciousness, golden sand, and beautiful coastal views. Visitors appreciate the availability of amenities like chair rentals and lifeguards. However, some find the beach to be shingley in parts and are bothered by the persistent vendors. The strong tides and waves can also be a concern for less experienced swimmers.
"Beautiful beach, the sand is ok and there are plenty of lifeguards about or places to rent chairs and umbrellas. You can hire little pedal boats too. A lot of sellers on the front on the pathway . Plenty of shops"

"Amazing stretch of beach where you can enjoy sunbathing, inflatable toys, restaurants, bars ,swimming or just take a stroll. It gives you an amazing panaramic view down the coast,it also can be very dangerous. The tide comes in very fast and the waves very high.Amazing to see but dangerous unless you're a strong swimmer."
Michael Soanes
"Beach is very shingley but in a great location.
It is very annoying that you are pestered every 5 minutes whilst there 🙄 (and that is not an exaggeration) in the few hours there i was asked 5 times to buy handbags, 7 times for sunglasses, 4 times for throws and around 15 times for a Chinese massage. That was on top of the fruit and drink and water sellers.
When trying to relax it's a bit much."
