A escasos 10 minutos del barrio de Deusto, en #Bilbao, un jubilado ha esculpido un bosque mágico aprovechando las formas de los árboles, convirtiéndolos en animales y seres mitológicos. Un bosque desconocido aún para la mayoría.

Reviews Summary

The University of Deusto is praised for its beautiful campus architecture and riverside location, offering a pleasant environment for walks. It attracts a multicultural student body, providing networking opportunities. However, some reviews highlight issues with campus facilities, canteen food, administrative processes, and teaching quality, particularly for exchange students.

"A perfect institute, provided with all materials that can make the teaching process more effective. A good atmosphere covers all of the uni from A to Z, I’m pretty sure u gonna feel home if u choose the university of Deustu for your future studies."

"Oh my goodness, the university has multicultural and dynamic nature of environment, and the people are really friendly. I’m able to connect with like minded people to grow my network."

JaiMuruganantham

"I have participated in different exchange programs, but my mobility at Deusto is by far the worst experience I've had so far. I don't even know where to start from... Firstly, for a private university that is making a lot of money, the conditions in the campus are awful: they are hardly any recreational areas in the campus, the food at the canteen is most of the time undercooked (and expensive), and the restrooms are utterly disgusting. Secondly, from the first days the administration ruins your mood with absurd formalities regarding the course registration. I would add that compared to other places I've visited, the staff from Deusto didn't even bother to offer us a free snack when we arrived. It seems that generosity and hospitality are not cardinal virtues for the Spanish... Despite their aggressive marketing, hearing them praising themselves how innovative their methodology is, in reality the teachers are a bunch of dilettantes to say the least. They burden you with endless irrelevant assignments, which prevent you from studying properly, while the way they deliver the classes leaves much to be desired (poor general knowledge, divagations, dependence on slideshows, etc.). Moreover the evaluation system is a bad joke. I find it unfair and unproductive to grade hardworking students, genuinely interested in a topic, along with lazy colleagues. For example, if someone didn't contribuite as much to a group essay, automatically all the members will receive the same grade. But it can be even more absurd: let's say you get the highest mark at a final exam but if you haven't accumulated enough points from the previous tasks you had throughout the semester then you won't be able to pass the course. Therefore, they do not stimulate creativity, nor critical thinking; their only interest is to provide the corporations with new yes-men. The good thing is that I didn't have to pay €6000 for such a miserable service."
