"While visiting Blanes, we were exploring city, went to se the Church, and on our way there, we saw teens holding music instruments. We didn't know what it was all about, so we decided to wait a bit, to see what is going on. Than, drums started beating, and the ceremony started. It was so holy expiriance."

"While in Blanes I recommend you visit Santa Maria church which was constructed a few years after 1319.
The church is joined to the old palace of the Viscounts of Cabrera to form one main building.
The building had a major fire in 1936 and parts were destroyed and the rebuilding of the church took ten years (1939 - 1949).
Well worth visiting and entry is free."
