"The platja de vilafortuny is a good beach to visit for those who maybe enjoy a bit of shade in the hotter summer months as it has a palm tree & a natural green grass & scrubland section which is left as is to maintain the beaches eco system , protecting the sand flora & forna & the insect population of course . The shaded area of the beach also has a small park play area for younger children & is not too far away from the crystal blue water of the sea , which is circa thirty yards away or so , depending on the time & tides of the sea . The beach sands are fine , light & golden , & when one is bathing in the sea the sunlight illuminates flickering glints of the golden sands from the seabed a natural occurrence that adds a bit of sparkle to the bathing experience , something I have never seen before in my travels elsewhere . The beach shaded area is an ideal place to picnic , but as before mentioned the insect population like a bite also ! So I recommend a bit of repellent if you are prone to inset bites . This is a good beach , with a more natural setting & not overly commercial & may well suit those who enjoy a more peaceful & tranquil beach experience , a must place visit whilst here in the resort of Cambrils . I ❤️ the platja de vilafortuny , so will you should you visit ! It's a beautiful beach experience . I Can only recommend ."
