"I drove about eight kilometres past resorts and hotels when I arrived at the port I found what was left of the old harbour area. It was a welcome surprise to find the area has not been spoilt by over development. There are some old type bars with local fisherman. There is also a nice beach with fabulous sunsets."

The proximity of these diverse beaches means visitors can easily switch between lively beach days and peaceful natural retreats.
