"The hotel is truly very authentic, with a wonderful atmosphere. The beds are extremely comfortable and we had a pleasant stay. The quality of the bed linens is excellent.
What I don’t understand is why in Spain there are no proper duvet covers. They just place the duvet between two sheets, which keeps slipping out. Why not use a three-sided stitched cover instead?
In the rooms, there are illuminated switches that cut off the electricity in the entire room when pressed—including the power outlets. This means devices can’t be charged, which is a poor design choice.
In the bathroom, I wish they had installed a proper shower instead of a bathtub. The water pressure is low, and even though the hotel was not busy, the water temperature constantly fluctuated between cold and hot, making it hard to take a comfortable shower.
Other than that, the staff was attentive and professional. Everything was spotlessly clean. We were satisfied overall.
However, in the town of Chinchón, there’s barely a decent place to eat. Many places appear open but are actually closed. I also witnessed some rude behavior towards visitors, which was disappointing. I’m truly sorry to say this about the town."

"Stayed on night Oct24 on a business trip. Staff excellent without exception. Rooms are very clean and fairly large. Noise from the street can be an issue if your room faces it. Breakfast was probably one of the best continentals I've had in years. Be warned, breakfast starts at 08:00hrs, Take this into consideration if you have a business meeting in the morning, no problems if your on holiday. The evening meal of lamb stew on a bed of mashed potato was surprisingly underwhelming in taste and portion size. Resteraunt itself is impressive surroundings. I will 100% return when next in area. I highly recommend."
