What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
While some visitors praise the excellent value and pleasant atmosphere of the wine bar, others express disappointment regarding the lack of English-speaking tours and limited access to the museum for non-Spanish speakers. The focus seems to be more on the commercial aspect of wine sales than a comprehensive cultural experience for all.
"For me it was one of the bigest disappointment in my life. I traveled from London just to visit this place and learn about Moscatel grape and wine. I am a sommelier. Unfortunately they don't do visit for the English speaking visitors and when you are only by yourself, you have a small chance to go inside of Museum and enjoy your visit. Only Spanish speakers are alowed to have a tour there.
They are not really guests orientated.
A busy comercial sherry wine bar on the side.
And to be honest Chipiona is not a beautiful town too.
They should not use the word MUSEUM, if you aren't alowed to visit this place for a cultural and historical experience.
A real disaster and ignorance for humans sensitivity and a luck of respect to other nations and other people."

"Nice shaded area to enjoy a sherry. Good value"

"A large Bodega where you can see the Barrels up to 3 levels on top of each other forming the Solera system where the New wine is put into the top tier and from the bottom tier they take no more than a third of the wine and it's replaced by the same amount of the wine from the middle tier and so on so that the wine is always the same taste and age."
