What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently praise the breathtaking architecture and the fascinating, extensive underground cellars, often highlighting the engaging storytelling of the guides. The cava tasting is a popular conclusion to the tour. However, some guests have noted areas for improvement in customer experience, particularly regarding multilingual communication and in-store promotions.
"Oldest winery in Spain apparently. Some beautiful buildings on site, very educational tour of the bodega with a guide. Little electric train journey around the massive cellars to boot.
The cata was very interesting and we tried 3 different cavas and heard about how they're produced and which foods they pair with.
Great, modern food in the on-site restaurant where some cava was included, but wine was an extra purchase.
Luckily it was a pre-Christmas company jolly, so I have no idea about prices for what we did, but I reckon a tour without lunch is another option..."
Mark Jordan
"Amazing experience! I strongly recommend the tour and cava tasting. The explanation was engaging, and discovering the history of the location was intriguing. The architecture, combined with all the cava bottles, adds to the charm. There's also a restaurant on-site; if you want to dine with excellent views, I suggest making a reservation in advance so you can enjoy it with the cava tour."

"Since it is a big company, I was expecting a cold, fabricated visit but I was wrong. I am sure the guides are following a script but Paul was such a good story teller, we were all mesmerized.
The grounds and the buildings are breathtaking. The cellars are unbelievable. The tasting was fun and informative.
We have been to several wineries in many countries and this absolutely deserves a place in top 3."
