Reviews Summary

Cala Deià is a stunningly beautiful, albeit rocky, cove with crystal-clear waters and dramatic cliffside views. While the scenery is consistently praised, visitors should be prepared for the challenging terrain, limited parking, and the need for water shoes. The rustic restaurants offer a memorable dining experience, but booking ahead is crucial.

"Cala Deià is a beautiful, rocky cove with crystal-clear water and dramatic scenery. The setting is absolutely stunning, surrounded by cliffs and with a couple of rustic restaurants overlooking the sea.

When I visited, the wind and waves made swimming quite difficult, so it’s not always the calm, easy swim you might expect. Water shoes are helpful too, as the beach is rocky rather than sandy.

Still, it’s a special place to relax, enjoy the view, and soak up the atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit, but best on a calm day."

"Beautiful but rocky. The day I went was cold therefore I didn’t considered to swim that day. Anyway, would be a great option for a sunny/hot weather. You need to consider there is limited parking it’s around 10minutes walking from the closest parking spot to the Cala."

Vanessa Mardueño

"Such a beautiful cove! Down quite a steep hill and feels even longer on the way up but so worth it! There is some parking down closer but we were told it was full. There are also taxis that run up and down from Deia.
There are two restaurants at the cove, I recommend booking a table when you arrive so that you can swim and sunbathe and then eat. The cheaper restaurant is closed on Wednesday."
