What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
Visitors consistently rave about the 'phenomenal' and 'first-class' pintxos tours in San Sebastian, highlighting the delicious food, engaging guides, and educational cultural insights. Many recommend doing a tour at the start of their trip to get acquainted with the local cuisine and bars. While overwhelmingly positive, some reviews mention the initial confusion around pintxos etiquette for first-timers.
"A phenomenal tour! Keith is a very warm & engaging host - who treats you like family and is very much a local (with the added bonus of being from the US so touring in English). We visited 5 pintxos bars; all of which were great, and he was also able to recommend a range of restaurants from favorites with the locals to hole-in-the-wall spots to high end fine dining. His intimate knowledge of not just the bars but the cuisine itself and the culture of the Basque people made for an educational tour, but still very relaxed and - most importantly - tasty! I would recommend this 10/10 without hesitation, whether your first time or a repeat visit to San Sebastián!"
Greg S
"We had a great time! Keith taught us so much about the history of the Basque Country. His food and drink recommendations were delicious!"
Erikka Asem
"Fantastic tour, Keith was a brilliant guide and his passion for the food really came across. We did this at the start of our trip at the Pintxos can be a little confusing at first!!"
