Reviews Summary
Visitors find Benimaquia an interesting historical diversion with impressive coastal views, though some note the limited remains and challenging path. It's appreciated for its historical significance, particularly its evidence of early winemaking, and the panoramic vistas make the climb worthwhile for many.
"Interesting diversion on way to Montgo."

"Little remains of what was once a small Iberian village that also produced wine. We don't give it the importance it should have. The path is narrow and has a lot of loose stones; you have to go up or down in single file. Beautiful views. For a walk?... I think there are better paths for family walks. I often go up at a demanding pace to get in shape; I love it!"

"Very easy route to the ruins, there is little left, there are no signs, incredible views"
