What Travellers Say
Reviews Summary
El Campello Promenade is praised for its beautiful coastal views, vibrant atmosphere, and diverse dining options. Visitors enjoy the long, sandy stretches of Playa Muchavista and the historical Baños de la Reina. However, some reviews highlight issues with the rocky terrain and seaweed on certain beach sections, particularly the dog beach, leading to disappointment for some.
"Shameful ! This shouldn’t be call a pet friendly beach ! Stones everywhere that not only hurt my feet but also my dog’s paws ! He fall many times and hurt himself ! Furthermore, the smell of this so called « beach » is horrible !! Algues everywhere and so on… We can easily see that this is a non-wanted beach for humans and that Alicante has thought good idea to put it for dogs as a « I did my duty ».
This place does not respect any beach standards and even less the « pet friendly » ones !
I am highly disappointed!!
DO NOT COME HERE WITH YOUR PET !!"
