"Beautiful baroque 18th Century Catholic Church, to the left hand side of altar on internal wall there's the original date of construction which is carved into stone, 1707.
According to the 12th Century Codex Calixtino the old town of Dugium was submerged here. This was the place where Santiago's disciples visited to request his burial and were denied and imprisoned.
The way to Muxía or Finisterre pases here too so it's nice for pilgrims to know that volunteers now open the church in the morning so you can now see inside of it."
