"Café Dindurra is one of these places that have the authentic personality of the historic. 100 years old, a venue that should be protected for good. Awesome, lovely art deco style. To be honest, I can't understand why people go to Starbucks if you have the chance to come over here.
Coffee is great and price is reasonable.
A must while visiting Gijón."

"A superb and luxurious place to come in for a coffee with churros. The lighting at midday is just exquisite, the floor is absolutely stunning, high ceilings, golden columns shaped like seashells and the prices are completely normal; 2€ for a coffee with soy milk.
Highly recommend stopping here for a drink/coffee/pinchin!"

"Beautiful old cafe which seemed very busy with locals, which gave a lovely atmosphere, initially. However they all left before lunchtime!
Avoid the dindurra salad, mashed up, mushy tuna, olives, potato and mayonnaise, supposedly with egg, none in mine.
The lady next to me had her table cleaned and then the waiter left! She waited 20 mins for someone to come, to then take her order.
I felt sorry for the waiters, they just seemed really miserable, perhaps the place needs new management.
Just visit for a coffee to see the lovely building."
